How It's Made
To make a CBD salve, you just need some basic ingredients, including: natural wax, a fatty oil, and hemp extract from the Cannabis Sativa plant.
How To Use
RELIEF: Apply liberally multiple times a day to areas in need. The salve is great for smaller areas such as hands and joints, while the lotion is easy to apply to larger areas. The lotion and the sun recovery lotion are both great for dry and irritated skin.
📌 One thing to remember is that consistency is critical! With how your body absorbs CBD+CBDa into its system, committing to a daily regime is important. Off and On usage will still provide you with desired results (likely with a higher-than-normal dosage) but our studies show that continued consistent use (even at a low dosage) offers the maximum benefit to the end user.
📌 Note about tolerance: CBD+CBDa affects everybody differently, from the amount needed for an optimal dose, to the effects felt. Tolerance to CBD+CBDa appears to be equally variable from person to person, with some people finding it does feel less effective over time, while others have reported taking the same dosage and achieving the same results, even over a long period.
How It Helps
CBD salves are applied topically to the skin, which is your body’s largest organ. Unlike CBD oils, salves don’t have to go through the digestive system for you to absorb their active ingredients. While the skin prevents the entry of harmful substances into the body, it helps in the absorption of lipid-based oils such as those that comprise CBD salves.
It’s simple: Our Proprietary Hemp Extract from Cannabis Sativa L, Almond Oil, and Beeswax.
30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee
CBD salve has many uses, which may include helping to manage skin conditions, as well as, providing relief for everyday muscle and joint aches*. Using proper application techniques will help make your CBD salve more effective.
CBD + CBDA
Detailed research and studies show our patent-pending combination of CBD+CBDA is twice as effective as CBD alone. Products that only contain CBD are simply unable to match the benefits of our CBD+CBDA formula.
A team of University PhDs spent multiple years researching the hemp plant and developing the patent-pending formula that is the foundation of all Tanasi products. 5% of all Tanasi sales goes to ongoing University research.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are There Side Effects?
For most people, CBD salves are safe to apply on the skin. But, if you are concerned, talk with your doctor before beginning use of CBD salves. You can also test a small amount of CBD salve on your skin before applying it to larger areas.
Who Should Use CBD Salve?
CBD salves are great for most people suffering from discomforts. This is because they carry few side effects, and many users enjoy relief from everyday aches and soreness from exercise and daily activities.* However, CBD salves may not be right for some, so talk to your provider and consider testing the salve on a small area of your skin before diving into widespread use.
When Will I Feel The Effects?
Full-spectrum topical CBD+CBDa frequently provides relief within minutes of application, but topicals can be used multiple times a day, for several days in a row, to achieve maximum results.*
What if I don’t like the Full Spectrum CBD Salve?
No worries! All Tanasi products have a 30-Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Just reach out to us via phone or email: (800) 395-7976 or [email protected]
When will my order be shipped?

What is cannabidiol (CBD) exactly?
Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is one of more than 100 chemical compounds called cannabinoids that are found in hemp, a variety of the cannabis plant with low THC (the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana that produces a high).
What is cannabidiolic-acid (CBDA) exactly?
Cannabidiolic acid is also a cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. CBDA is the chemical precursor to CBD and is basically the “raw form” of CBD. When CBDA is heated it decarboxylates and converts to CBD.
How is hemp different from marijuana?
“Hemp” and “marijuana” are terms used to describe varieties of the Cannabis Sativa L. plant. Hemp has very low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and higher levels of cannabidiol (CBD). CBD from hemp cannot get you high, unlike THC from marijuana that has an intoxicating effect.
Is CBD legal?
Yes! The hemp strains in Tanasi products have trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%), and therefore can’t, and won’t, make you high. The low level of THC, and lack of psychoactive properties in low THC hemp, are why this variety of the cannabis plant was federally legalized as part of the 2018 Federal Farm Bill.
What are the benefits of CBD and CBDA?
For years, many in the medical and science community have touted CBD for its natural benefits. Some of the most common reasons people use CBD and CBDA are: stress relief, inflammation reduction, better sleep, and focus improvement.
What makes Tanasi’s formula of CBD+CBDA so special?
In 2016 our parent company, GreenWay Herbal Products, LLC, entered into a grant partnership agreement with a University (Middle Tennessee State University) with a world-class botanical research facility. A team of PhDs used our $2.5 million grant to study the hemp plant and discovered the patent-pending combination of CBD+CBDa that is the foundation of all Tanasi products. CBD and CBDa each have unique health benefits, and the 1:1 combination amplifies the benefits of the individual cannabinoids.
